Type npm install -g appium1.3.7 for specific version npm install -g appium for the latest version. I am able to run the project from my local machine. Follow the steps for installing the Node and npm here. To open Appium from the command prompt, type Appium followed by the IP address and the server port number. After a successful installation, you can start using Appium. ![]() The npm package manager will start the installation procedure. Io.appium.java_: The main Appium script does not exist at ‘/usr/local/lib/node_modules/appium/build/lib/main.js’ Open the command prompt as an administrator and type the following command: npm install -g Appium.
